Sail on Sale: Book in October, National Cruise Vacation Month

Even though the days are getting shorter and the weather a bit cooler, good times, great company, and exceptional service await you aboard one of 26 different major cruise lines that are offering flagship rates for cruises booked in October. What does National Cruise Vacation Month mean to you? If you like cruising or you’ve been thinking of going on one and you like to save money, it means HUGE savings and an opportunity to start paying towards your dream vacation. Now through the month of October, you can take advantage of exclusive onboard credits, reduced deposits, and other offers.

If you’re one of the dwindling number of people who hasn’t tried cruising and you’re wondering what the fuss is about, imagine this: You arrive at the ship, where you are shown to your nicely appointed stateroom. Your bags are delivered and you unpack once for your entire multiple destination vacation!  A little later, you go down to the dining room for dinner where you produce no cash because meals are included in the price of your cruise. After dinner, you take in a Broadway revue in the ship’s showroom — free of charge, of course. That kind of inclusive packaging makes cruising less stressful and more enjoyable than many other types of vacations out there.

You can get a better deal by booking with a Cruise Specialist than booking direct.

  1. Booking vacations off season is a bit of a gamble. I booked a cruise during hurricane season, and although it was dirt cheep, it rained the whole time. So if you don’t mind spending your holiday indoors- you can get a great price. Just make sure you choose a location or trip that has great indoor amenities!
